Bruegger's Inching Up to 100,000 Facebook Fans
100 fans to get free bagels if brand hits the landmark by August 15.


DALLAS, TX, July 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bruegger's, the nation's original bagel bakery and cafe with 297 locations throughout the U.S., is edging up to 100,000 fans on Facebook (94,566 and growing fast).

If the Bruegger's Facebook page reaches this landmark by August 15, Bruegger's will celebrate by giving away 1000 of its "America's best" bagels (and cream cheese) to 100 of its luckiest fans. Each of the fans, chosen at random, will get 10 bagel and cream cheese coupons to bring to the office, give to their neighbors or to keep for themselves.

Bruegger's has seen extraordinary growth on its Facebook page in recent months. The brand has added nearly 60,000 new fans since May, when it announced the "Everything Else is Just Toast" campaign, which offered Facebook users a coupon to taste Bruegger's truly authentic bagel, baked fresh all day, every day in each of its bakeries.

"Our Facebook fans are an integral part of the guest experience," said Holly Ryan, Director of Social Marketing for Bruegger's. "We learn so much about the different menu items our guests enjoy, opportunities for new locations and great suggestions for the future - we love their feedback and want to thank them for it."

Bruegger's also posts the latest bagel flavors, menu additions, photos, recipes and new locations to its page, while fans share their favorite combinations for all to try.
