New Jersey/New York Creative Services Firm Promotes New Art Directors and Hires New Design Staff
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ, July 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- JK Design, a leading print media and Web development agency with offices in central New Jersey and New York City, announced that the company has promoted three top graphic designers to the position of art director. The three are now responsible for leading teams of production artists through the development of all print materials from design concept to finished product. The company also announced other new staff developments.
Chuck Baum has worked at JK Design for more than 10 years, most recently as interactive designer. He brings more than three decades of design and illustration experience in print and electronic media - as well as his characteristic high-energy creative approach - to his new role as art director.
With more than 20 years of award-winning experience in graphic design, new art director Bill Church has developed and executed creative work for both print and interactive projects - including logo design, advertising campaigns and websites - since joining JK Design in 2007.
New art director Martin Jones has been with JK Design for nearly 12 years, most recently as senior designer. With more than three decades of commercial print and design experience, he has developed design concepts for corporate branding initiatives, promotional campaigns, and marketing collateral for a diverse group of national and international clients. He also works on interactive Web projects.
After three years with JK Design's print design team, Jeremy Rech is assuming a new role as interactive designer, where he will use leading-edge technology and software to create webpage designs and animations.
Mike King recently joined JK Design as a production artist, where he works closely with the print design team to produce the final files needed for print projects. His experience includes a wide range of design work, including large-scale designs for billboards and bus wraps. He earned a degree in graphic design from The College of New Jersey.
JK Design also welcomes back Jen Fay, a 12-year veteran of the company who recently returned from maternity leave after the birth of her daughter Chloe. In addition to her role as graphic designer on the print design team, Jen manages accounts for clients in a range of industries and has developed a variety of national marketing campaigns.
"As we celebrate our 25th anniversary in this challenging economy, our outstanding design work and expanding capabilities continue to attract new clients and additional projects," said Jerry Kaulius, founder and president of JK Design. "These well-deserved promotions and other staff changes will help us to provide an even higher level of quality, service and creativity to our clients."
JK Design's headquarters is located in the historic Staats House in Hillsborough, New Jersey. The company also maintains an office in midtown Manhattan near New York Penn Station.
